- Hand-applied stain with catalyzed varnish as the contract standard. Custom color match available. Sample panels supplied for approval before production.

- COM and COL accepted. Send yardage requirements with your RFQ and we'll confirm cut yield. In-house fabric program also available.

Lumber2Love is a commercial furniture manufacturer in Grand Rapids, Michigan, building contract-grade tables, seating, and casegoods for restaurants, hotels, private clubs, corporate offices, and institutional spaces nationwide. Every piece is made to order in our 30,000 square foot shop by a team of skilled craftspeople — not sourced from a catalog and not imported.
Commercial furniture has a harder job than residential furniture. A restaurant dining table is wiped down forty times a day with a wet rag, takes heat from plates, and absorbs the abuse of chairs pushed against it for years. A hotel lobby table lives under constant traffic. A boardroom conference table has to look flawless in every client meeting for a decade. We build for that reality: reinforced joinery, contract-grade catalyzed varnish, and hardware specified for commercial duty cycles.
Restaurant furniture and bar tops
Our restaurant furniture program covers two-top and four-top dining tables, communal tables, bar tops, die walls, and host stands, in solid hardwood or veneer depending on span and application. Table bases are built in solid wood or fabricated steel to match the room. Restaurant tables ship with our standard catalyzed varnish, which is the finish we recommend for any surface facing daily service.
Hospitality furniture for hotels and resorts
For hotels and resorts we build lobby and feature tables, guest room casegoods, outdoor dining, and F&B seating. Multi-property rollouts are scheduled by phase so each location receives its furniture on the opening calendar rather than all at once. We have supplied hospitality projects from boutique properties in Michigan to resort and club work in Florida, Oregon, and New York.
Conference tables and office casegoods
Our commercial conference tables run from eight feet to thirty feet in rectangle, boat, racetrack, round, and custom shapes, with power and data grommets integrated to your AV drawing. Matching credenzas, executive desks, and reception millwork are finished to the same species and stain so an entire suite reads as one program.
Contract seating, banquettes, and upholstery
Contract seating includes side and arm chairs, counter and bar stools, banquettes, and lounge pieces. We accept COM and COL — send your yardage requirements with the RFQ and we will confirm cut yield before production. Banquettes are templated to the room rather than assembled from stock modules.
Working with designers and dealers
We work directly with interior designers, architects, furniture dealers, general contractors, and owner-operators. Shop drawings are issued for approval on every custom piece before anything is cut, and finish sample panels are supplied for sign-off. Designer and dealer pricing is available through our trade and design program. Lead time is 10–12 weeks from receipt of deposit, with nationwide blanket-wrapped freight and white-glove install coordinated to your GC schedule.

What is the lead time for commercial furniture orders?
Standard lead time is 10–12 weeks from receipt of deposit. Multi-location rollouts are scheduled by phase so each site receives furniture on its own opening date. Expedited production is sometimes available — ask before you build a construction schedule around it.
Do you accept COM or COL for upholstery?
Yes. We accept both Customer's Own Material and Customer's Own Leather on all contract seating and banquettes. Send yardage requirements with your request for quote and we will confirm cut yield before production begins. An in-house fabric program is also available if you would rather specify from our lines.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No. We build single conference tables for one boardroom and full furniture packages for multi-location restaurant groups. Both go through the same drawing and approval process.
Do you use solid hardwood or veneer?
Both, chosen by application. Solid American hardwoods — walnut, white oak, maple, hickory and rift-cut options — are used where solid stock performs best. Book-matched, quarter-cut and figured veneers are specified where a large top calls for matched grain and dimensional stability across the span. We will tell you which one your project wants and why.
Can you integrate power and data into conference tables?
Yes. Grommets, flip-top units, and wire management are integrated to your AV drawing. Send the device schedule along with table dimensions and we will detail placement on the shop drawings for your approval.
Do you ship and install outside Michigan?
We ship nationwide, blanket-wrapped, from our Grand Rapids shop. White-glove delivery and placement is available, and installation is coordinated with your general contractor's schedule. We have completed commercial projects in New York, Florida, Oregon, New Jersey, and throughout the Midwest.
What finish do you use on commercial tables?
Catalyzed varnish is our contract standard. It is significantly more resistant to heat, moisture, and abrasion than a typical residential finish, which matters on any surface facing daily service. Custom color matching is available, and sample panels are supplied for approval before production.
Do you offer designer and dealer pricing?
Yes. Interior designers, architects, and furniture dealers receive trade pricing through our trade and design program. Contact us with your firm details and current project to have trade terms applied to your quote.
