Nobody wants a cable on the table

Power, data and AV, built in

Flip-up and pop-up power modules, USB-C, wireless charging pads, HDMI and network passthroughs, cable troughs under the top and grommets where you actually need them — specified before the top is cut, not drilled in afterwards.

Tell us where people sit and what they plug in, and we will lay out the modules to match. If your AV integrator has a spec, send it and we will build to it.

How big does your table need to be?

The usual mistake is buying to fill the room rather than to seat the meeting. Allow roughly 30 inches of table edge per person, plus at least 36 inches of clearance behind each chair so people can get out without everyone shuffling.

Round tables change the conversation

A round or square top removes the head of the table, which suits collaborative teams and client meetings where nobody should be visibly in charge. Practical up to about 72 inches across — beyond that, reaching across stops being possible.

Solid hardwood or veneer?

Both, depending on what the design needs. A straight top in walnut, white oak, maple or cherry is solid hardwood, milled and joined in our shop.

Anything with a radial or matched-grain pattern — starburst, compass, book-matched slabs — uses premium architectural veneer over a solid core and frame. That is not a shortcut: a radial pattern in solid boards would tear itself apart as the wood moves through the seasons. It is how high-end architectural millwork has always been built.

Finishes that survive a workday

Catalyzed varnish is the default for boardrooms. It resists coffee, condensation, hand sanitizer and laptop feet far better than an oil finish, and it can be repaired in place years later. See materials and finishes for the full range.

Matching the rest of the room

We build credenzas and storage in the same species and finish, plus contract seating if you need the chairs too.

Conference table questions

Do you build veneer conference tables as well as solid wood?

Both. Solid hardwood for straight and simple tops; premium architectural veneer over a solid core wherever the design calls for a radial or matched-grain pattern that solid boards cannot hold. We tell you which one your table is before you order.

What sizes do you build?

From six-foot collaborative tables up to twenty feet and beyond for executive boardrooms. Everything is built to your dimensions rather than to a catalog size, and tables over about twelve feet are usually built in sections that join on site so they can get through your doors.

Can you integrate power and data?

Yes — outlets, USB-C, wireless charging, HDMI and network passthroughs, cable troughs and AV cutouts. Send your integrator's spec and we will build to it. More on power and data.

Do you deliver and install nationwide?

Yes. We ship across the U.S. with white glove delivery available, which means the table is brought in, assembled and levelled in the room rather than left in a crate in your lobby. See delivery options.

How long does a conference table take?

Plan on 10–12 weeks from deposit for commercial projects, depending on size, finish and how much power and data integration is involved. We give you a date range at quoting, not a guess.

Can you match our existing furniture or brand colors?

Usually. Send a sample of what you are matching — a drawer front, a laminate chip, a paint code — and we will build a finish sample for approval before we finish the table.

Do you work with designers and dealers?

Yes. Trade pricing, drawings and specification support are available through our Trade & Design Program. COM and COL accepted on seating.
