LIMITED WARRANTY OVERVIEW

All finishes, components, and furniture products manufactured by Lumber2Love, LLC (“Lumber2Love”), including but not limited to dining tables, conference tables, desks, benches, chairs, cabinetry, consoles, shelving, seating, bases, metal components, stone components, veneer inlays, laminate elements, and related furniture products (collectively, the “Products”), are covered by this Limited Warranty (“Limited Warranty”).

This Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser (“Buyer”), is non-transferable, and begins on the date of final payment. It covers manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials under normal use conditions.

Lumber2Love shall determine, at its sole discretion, the appropriate remedy for any covered defect, which may include repair, replacement, or component replacement. This Limited Warranty is the exclusive remedy for warranty claims.

WARRANTY PERIODS

Unless otherwise stated in writing, Lumber2Love Products are covered as follows:

1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

All Lumber2Love Products are covered for one (1) year from the date of final payment against defects in workmanship and materials under normal residential or commercial use.

This includes:

  • Structural integrity

  • Joinery and assembly

  • Fabrication-related defects

ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL COMPONENTS (IF APPLICABLE)

For Products incorporating electrical or mechanical components:

  • Electronic components (control boxes, switches, power modules, motors): 1 year

  • Mechanical components (crank systems, slides, adjustable hardware): 1 year

  • Structural steel components (bases, brackets, internal supports): 1 year

Third-party component manufacturers may offer additional warranties, which are governed solely by those manufacturers.

WARRANTY SERVICE & COSTS

During the warranty period, Lumber2Love will repair or replace defective components at no charge for parts.

If Lumber2Love determines that a reported issue is due to misuse, installation error, environmental exposure, or user damage, Buyer may be charged for service, labor, or repairs at a rate of $150 per hour, plus materials and freight.

Unless otherwise required by law:

  • Buyer is responsible for packing, crating, and transportation beyond the warranty period

  • On-site labor, removal, and reinstallation are not covered

LIMITATIONS & EXCLUSIONS

This Limited Warranty does not apply to:

  • Floor samples, showroom pieces, prototypes, or display models

  • Products sold as-is, clearance, or promotional items

  • Products purchased second-hand or from liquidators

  • Rental, leasing, or hospitality rental use

This Limited Warranty is void if damage results from:

  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or unauthorized repair

  • Improper installation or handling

  • Improper storage, cleaning, or maintenance

  • Transportation or freight damage

  • Exposure to extreme heat, cold, moisture, or humidity

  • Outdoor or semi-outdoor use unless explicitly approved in writing

  • Relocation from original delivery location

MODIFICATIONS & CHEMICAL TREATMENTS

This Limited Warranty is void if:

  • Products are altered, modified, or repaired without written authorization from Lumber2Love

  • Chemical treatments, sealers, coatings, waxes, or protective finishes are applied by Buyer or third parties

IMPLIED WARRANTIES

Any implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this Limited Warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so this may not apply in all jurisdictions.

SIZE, DIMENSION & APPEARANCE VARIABILITY

Due to the handcrafted nature of solid wood furniture:

  • Minor dimensional variation may occur

  • Expansion and contraction of wood is natural

  • Final products may vary slightly from samples, renderings, or drawings

Buyer is solely responsible for confirming dimensions and fit prior to fabrication. Dimensional or aesthetic variation does not constitute a defect.

NATURAL MATERIAL DISCLOSURES

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Natural wood grain variation, knots, mineral streaks, sapwood or heartwood variation

  • Checking, cracking, or movement inherent to solid wood

  • Color changes due to aging or UV exposure

  • Leather marks, scars, wrinkles, or color variation

  • Stone veining, fissures, or natural voids

  • Veneer grain matching across panels

  • Fabric pilling, dye transfer, or wear

  • Surface damage from sharp objects, heat, moisture, or sunlight

  • Staining from food, liquids, or chemicals

  • Damage caused by planters, condensation, or trapped moisture

No two Lumber2Love pieces are identical. Variations are expected and are not defects.

THIRD-PARTY & CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED MATERIALS

Lumber2Love does not warrant:

  • Customer’s Own Material (COM)

  • Third-party supplied materials, finishes, or components

Inspection of such materials is limited to manufacturing feasibility only.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

In no event shall Lumber2Love be liable for:

  • Loss of use or revenue

  • Consequential, incidental, or special damages

  • Damage to personal or surrounding property

Total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the Product.

CLAIM PROCEDURE

To submit a warranty claim:

  1. Contact Lumber2Love with order/invoice number

  2. Provide a detailed description of the issue

  3. Submit clear photographs or documentation

Repaired or replaced items remain covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period.

GOVERNING LAW

This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

CARE & MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES

DO:

  • Clean with a soft, damp (water-only) cloth, then dry

  • Wipe spills immediately

  • Use coasters and protective pads

  • Maintain indoor humidity between 35%–55%

  • Protect from direct sunlight

DO NOT:

  • Use ammonia, bleach, vinegar, waxes, polishes, oil soaps, or abrasives

  • Allow water to pool on surfaces

  • Place hot, wet, or sharp objects directly on surfaces

  • Apply chemical coatings or sealers

WARRANTY RIGHTS

This Limited Warranty gives Buyer specific legal rights. Additional rights may vary by state.
