Variation in color and knots
The photos you see online are exactly that — photos. Wood can look different in person, under different lighting and in different rooms. All real wood has variation running through it, and that variation should be expected rather than treated as a fault.Tables can come with knots, which we fill with epoxy. The catalyzed varnish finish is spill resistant and handles daily life well, but it's still wise to wipe up spills promptly. Standing liquid left long enough will damage any wood surface.Cleaning
