Walk the floor, put your hand on the wood, and look at finishes under real light instead of on a screen. You will usually catch a few pieces mid-build. Visits are by appointment so someone is free to actually walk you around rather than shouting over a sander — pick a time below and we will confirm it. Or browse the shop online first.
Before you come
What a visit actually looks like
Half an hour to an hour, usually. No sales pitch, no showroom. It is a working shop, so you will see sawdust, half-finished pieces and people mid-job.
- See and feel the wood. Walnut, white oak, maple and the rest, in the flesh rather than on a screen.
- Compare finishes properly. Stains read completely differently in person, and again under your own lighting at home.
- Look at joinery up close. See how a base is actually built before you decide what you want.
- Talk sizes in real space. Bring your room dimensions and we will tell you honestly what fits.

- Room measurements, or a photo of the space
- Any inspiration images you have saved
- A flooring or paint sample if you are matching to something
